Came here to eat at their taqueria with my uncle. I got a steak torta (3.95) because i remember last time i got tacos and my bf got a torta and it looked crazy good and i was super jealous. sooo....my torta was freaking amazing and i think i am now going to order tortas everywhere now.. they have a small seating area and i think you have to ask the guys behind the counter for the sauce. i was sad that they didnt have horchata today though..
I remember stopping in here years ago when they first opened this small grocer and recall not being too impressed. When I was out that way on Saturday I decided to stop in again. My new impressions are very different. The grocer is small, so it does not have an extensive variety of inventory. It does have wonderful produce; things you don't see everywhere. But what really got me was the taqueria in the back. What a variety of wonderful foods. I ended up getting a simple torta and it was fantastic - and very reasonable. This may make my frequent list!
Step 1: Find place on Google Maps. Step 2: Go there. Step 3: Go in. Step 4: Order 3 chorizo tacos (not crumbled), cilantro and onions Step 5: Squeeze Lime on tacos Step 6: Squeeze a little bit of green or red sauce (based on your preference) Step 7: Consume. Step 8: Smile and talk about how awesome it is (even if you're alone). Step 9: Come back to Yelp and thank me (this step is not necessary). Step 10: Repeat.
BEST LITTLE STORE AROUND!! Great prices & the taqueria is SOOOOOOO good!! If you don't go here, you should!! We even catered our sons birthday party with their food!! EXCELLENT!
I really like this place, only reason it doesn't get the 5 is the prices are a bit higher than the other place nearby I go to (fiesta market, yes I'm Spanish in case the Jose didn't give it away lol). Great variety of stuff and they even got a little taqueria in the back. Reminds me of growing up in the city. The tamales they sell are pretty good here. Only problem is I a always leave with too many goodies for the house!
